Vintage brooch bouquets are a wedding trend that's catching on

A new wedding trend this season is vintage brooch bouquets. A Boise local crafter, 4Eva Bouquets, is making and selling them locally and online.

Brides everywhere are preparing for their big days with final fittings of gowns, bridal showers, finalizing details for flowers, catering, decor and all the other tasks that come with planning a wedding.

As a Boise Wedding Photographer Marcela Timson said in a recent interview with I Love Boise Weddings Magazine, this season's wedding trends include light up dance floors and impressive statement pieces in decor anything from a giant ice sculpture to romantic lighting or a beautiful crystal chandelier.

Here's a new wedding trend that many Boise brides many not be aware of. Vintage brooch bouquets are becoming tres chic in other parts of the country, and the trend is making its way to Boise.

There's a new local crafter in Boise 4Eva Bouquets. 4Eva Bouquets recently started making vintage brooch bouquets. Eva Maria is the owner of 4EVA Bouquets and she began her business by making first her own wedding bouquet. It was so lovely that other brides and friends started asking about it and by word of mouth a new business was born.I just think they're a wonderful keepsake to display with your wedding photos, Eva Maria says.

The bouquets she makes are stunning. She uses everything from rhinestone encrusted brooches and vintage scatter pins that women used to pin to their sweaters, to large flower pins and flower picks. She also makes her very own flowers from different fabrics. I love making the underneath sides really pretty too, she said. She wraps ribbon around the bases and holders and decorates them with various items one has a three-strand pearl bracelet wrapped around the handle.

4EVA Bouquets are also very affordable they start at around $125.

They're so time-consuming. I easily spend 30+ hours working on one, she said.

But it is so worth it, they are really a WORK OF ART!
